A Confusing Premonition
by Pamela Graham
My Aunt was still in High School, and not dating when I began to have premonition dreams of what was to come.  I was about 7, but I saw her married with a daughter and a son and something happening and killing her husband and son.  Hard dreams for a child.  Harder still when trying to tell adults and no one would listen.  She did marry and have a daughter then a son.
The dreams were still happening all this time, I was now 11.  They went on vacation to see his family out of State, and on the way back home, an 18 wheeler crossed the lines and the middle median and ran over their pinto, killing my Uncle and male Cousin, leaving my Aunt and female Cousin needing many surgeries.  I was made to feel that I somehow caused it, and did shut down for a few years.
My Aunt was in the hospital out of State for about 4 months.  Once she was released and came home, she noticed strange things happening, which I witnessed them and more.  They were people of habit, and everything had it’s ‘time’.
After dinner while she was doing dishes, there were sounds in the living room, then the smell of cigarette smoke, and you could see the smoke swirls going to the ceiling.  Once that was done, the stove in the kitchen would turn on, always the same burner-under the tea kettle.  After the amount of time to make and drink a cup of coffee, the kitchen door would open and close, then the detached garage side door would open, the lights would come on, the door close, and the lights would be on till a bit before their bedtime, when they would turn off, and the doors would open and close coming back to the house.
She talked to the pastors of their Lutheran Church who came, and when things began, left very quickly and told her to please not come back.
My family contacted the local Catholic Priests to come and exorcise the house and garage.  They came, witnessed what was happening and left rather scared as well.
My Aunt ended up checking herself into a psych hospital for treatment, not being able to get a handle on the deaths and the happenings.  She stayed there 18 months.
My Uncle continued there at the house rolling and smoking is cigarettes after dinner time, making their evening coffee, and going out to work in the garage until she came home and he was sure she was ok, then, he went Home.
We left the Catholic Church and joined a non-denominational Church (based on Unity’s Teachings) at that time, where I was able to learn to hone some of my gifts further.
