Who Moved the Plant
By Sue Greenwald
I was sitting on my deck about 3 weeks ago, and was just gazing out over the trees. I noticed what I thought were 2 insects playing together. They rose up from the bushes, circled around each other, and then went back into the foliage. It took me a moment, when I realized that they were fairies! These 2 fairies were playing a game of chase, and I got to witness it!
Of course!! My phone was inside. I decided just to watch and enjoy the fairies. They circled around each other a few times, and then went back into the leaves. They did this several times. The sun was bright and everything sparkled, and it seemed like a magical moment.
I realized they were fairies as they were about 1-1.5 inches long, moved very quickly, and had a humanoid shape. I watched for a while, then it seemed like they stopped. I was hoping that they weren’t worried because I was watching.
Today, July 22, 2025, I woke up to see something changed on my back deck.
I love plants, although I’m not great at taking care of them. A few weeks ago, I planted 5 small plastic containers with flowers, tomatoes and peppers, that I have on a little table on the deck. I was really so excited to see how fast the plants have grown! I occasionally forget to water them, but otherwise, they’re doing great!
We had a rainstorm the other day, so I pulled the table back from the edge of the deck, and the plants back from the edge of the table, so they wouldn’t get too wet or damaged.
This morning, I went out to the desk and was quite surprised! One of these small containers was off the table. I found it sitting on the floor of the deck, tucked under the fern, where it was getting shade.
After looking at it closely for a while, I’ve determined that this wasn’t an accident.
I think someone placed the plant in that position. If that plant had blown or fallen from the table, there most likely would have been some dirt left on the deck, and the container most likely would have been on its side. It seems unlikely that the plant could have fallen, spun, and perfectly landed on its bottom, tucked neatly among the fern!
I’m getting that a benevolent entity placed the plant in that location. What do you think?
